DAY 4
At the risk of offending some of my moots, followers, and subscribers (all 7 of them), Jikook is real.
I know. Romantic “shipping” is controversial. I’m sorry. I’m actually doing a survey that includes the opportunity for you to share your thoughts on shipping, but today I am here to tell you about my experience with it and how it relates to day 2 of PTD in Las Vegas. Day 4 of my BTS adventure.
BORING BACKGROUND INFO
I was a late bloomer in the field of BTS. I became an ARMY during the Dynamite era. It went per usual; voices, faces, carpool karaoke…. Then I noticed that the closeness between Jimin and Jungkook gave off a different vibe. It didn’t take long before I analyzed every movement, smirk, and innuendo that I could find. But what got me was the look. I have seen human relationships for over half a century. To quote Forrest, “I know what love is.” There is love in the look of Jikook. I am convinced. If you follow BTS ships, I’m sure you are familiar with GCF Tokyo, the “rings”, the bite mark incident, and the infamous Rose Bowl ear suck. Throughout my time as an ARMY, I have become familiar with them all. I have taken them to heart and become a diehard Jikooker. When preparing for the concert, I bought a Jikook mask from Etsy and created an awesome Jikook bag through Shutterfly to carry my goody bags. So naturally, I was looking forward to seeing a few Jikook moments at the concerts this weekend. Friday night was great, but nothing made my heart stop.
SATURDAY NIGHT
After a delicious & authentically Korean lunch at Mr. Kim's Korean BBQ in Henderson, we headed to the venue. Our seats for the night were on the side of the stage.

While we were waiting for the show to start, Sierra noticed we had a great view of behind the stage. “Do you think we will see them?” she asked me.
“Nah, probably not, I think they stay under the stage, right?”
She shrugged.
“I guess we will see.”
As the concert got ready to begin, we saw people walking out to the back of the stage.
Oh my god!
It was them. (and a bunch of security) They stopped to wave at us. SCREAMS!

After the overly awesome concert (I can’t even tell you), we saw them leave the stage area. My heart stopped for a moment and time stood still when I saw Jungkook and Jimin emerge together. JK immediately picked Jimin up in his arms and carried him out of the venue bridal style as Jimin waved to us. The phrase of the day was heard in seats all around me, “OH MY GOD!” I saw it with my own eyes. If I had missed the whole concert and had only experienced that moment, it would have been worth it. I am a pure Jikooker.
Of course, this is my belief. I know there are some fierce Taekookers out there and I respect your loyalty. I’m not trying to change your mind. I’m just telling you what I think.
If you want to voice your opinion on shipping and other fan-related things please fill out my survey.
Spoiler alert for day 5: the misadventures continue as we find out all Spirit flights from Las Vegas were canceled today and we are locked out of the hotel room.
